INDHEAL can always help in arranging translators if the hospital does not have people speaking your language. Please contact INDHEAL support team on email, chat, call or WhatsApp.

Each hospital offers certain types of cuisine/food. You can see the list of cuisines/food choices in the detail page of each hospital. Ayurveda hospitals would almost always have a strict vegetarian diet as diet is a very important element of Ayurveda treatment.

You don’t have to pay any money to INDHEAL for our services. All our services are complimentary for you.

All payments to the hospital and/or hotel will be made directly by you. Payments can be made through cards, online transfer or cash. Advance payment facilities are available at all leading hospitals and hotels. Carrying too much cash is not advisable.

All hospitals that are listed on our platform follow internationally accepted practices and protocols for medical outcomes. Hospitals also have certifications like JCI (Joint Commission International) and NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals). These certifications can only be obtained once the assessors and the certification authorities are fully satisfied with the standards and procedures followed by the hospital. The hospitals will be reassessed periodically for them to maintain their certification status, so there will be a constant focus on maintaining the quality and standards.

Booking a treatment is simple.

1. Search for your treatment and select a hospital of your choice.

2. Click on Request treatment plan button within a hospital page.

3. Just provide your treatment requirements, upload medical records and your contact details.

You will then receive an email with a detailed treatment plan. The treatment plan will contain the proposed treatment details, approximate cost and duration from the hospital.

Hotel booking can only be done for those users who have booked treatments in hospitals through INDHEAL. Just let INDHEAL team know about your hotel preferences and the team will be glad to assist you with the booking.

NABH (National Accreditation Board for hospitals and healthcare providers) is a constituent body of the Quality Council of INDIA. Established in 2005, NABH is the principal accreditation standard for hospitals and health care organizations in India. NABH is also a member of the accreditation Council of International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) and is also on board of Asian Society for Quality in Healthcare (ASQua). 

NABH standards are accredited by ISQUA, the apex body in the world for healthcare accreditation. This thus makes NABH accreditation at par with the world’s most leading hospital accreditations like JCI, NCQA or ACHS.

Joint Commission International (JCI) is the oldest accreditation body in healthcare globally. The standards and measures which JCI sets are comprehensive, world leading and is aimed at achieving maximum patient safety.

JCI standards are approved and endorsed by the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua).

Over the years, the healthcare sector around the world has seen tremendous growth with very large number of hospitals and healthcare organizations around the world. Choosing the right center for one’s treatment is becoming increasingly difficult. Fortunately, standards and accreditations like JCI and NABH help the customer in providing some guidelines during this selection process.

Companies which are accredited by NABH go through a very rigorous process of application, data validation, process and data audits by certified lead assessors. NABH has laid out detailed criteria for the processes followed in the healthcare company. Companies need to be attained and validated by the auditors in order for it to be accredited.

India is amongst the top medical travel destinations in the world. Some of the reasons are

• In order to get a Medical visa, you will need a letter from the hospital in India. Also, for some procedures like organ transplants, there is a big list of documents required from your home country. INDHEAL can assist you in getting a visa recommendation letter. We will also help in validating the documents needed for organ transplants.

Selecting the right hospital is always tricky. As with most other things in life, there is no such thing as a best hospital. It all depends on your treatment needs, budget, location preference etc.

• Skill level/experience of doctors: Ask for doctor profiles.

• Your interaction with the doctors: Wherever it is possible, talk to the doctor before you decide.

• Certifications of the hospitals: Look for certifications like JCI or NABH

• Location: Airport Connectivity is an important parameter, most of the cities in India have excellent air connectivity with all the major cities in the world.
